Don Chambers is an artist and musician working in Athens, Georgia since 1988. His mediums include painting, drawing, sculpture and collage. The work can be both abstract and representational. The work often employs rust as a medium. Chance and coincidence play an important part in these explorations of transformation, memory, nostalgia and decay. He earned his MFA in painting and printmaking at the University of Georgia and was the recipient of a National Endowment for the Arts Grant and Georgia Council for the Arts Artist Grant. He is also a songwriter and has released 10 albums.
